Junior Program

Our Junior Program introduces students to the core disciplines of computer science; coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence  through structured, hands-on technical challenges.

What they learn

Throughout the year, students will explore three exciting platforms:

  • A block-based programming platform where students construct multi-step sequences, use loops and conditional logic, and debug their own code, developing the same logical structures used in professional programming languages.
  • A sensor-driven robot that responds to both colour-based commands and block-based programs, teaching students how machines interpret input, execute instructions, and adapt behaviour in real time.
  • An AI-powered robot that introduces machine learning concepts in action, students explore how artificial intelligence processes data, recognises patterns, and makes decisions, laying the groundwork for understanding the systems shaping tomorrow's world.

With each platform, students build computational thinking, algorithmic reasoning, and problem-solving confidence through progressively challenging, real-world scenarios. Whether they're beginners or already tech-curious, this program pushes students toward genuine technical fluency, not just familiarity with technology, but an understanding of how it actually works.
