Intermediate Program

Our Intermediate Program advances students from visual block-based logic into text-based block programming, bridging the gap between beginner-friendly coding and real programming syntax used by software developers.

What they learn

Throughout the year, students will explore three exciting platforms:

  • A text-based block programming language where students write more sophisticated logic -  nested loops, custom functions, and variables, building fluency in structures that closely mirror professional coding languages.
  • A buildable, programmable robot that students build from scratch and code themselves, applying their programming knowledge to control motors, sensors, and lights in a physical machine they've engineered from the ground up.
  • A robot with native AI capabilities, where students programme real machine learning behaviours , including voice recognition, object detection, and adaptive responses, giving them hands-on exposure to how modern AI systems are built and trained.

With each platform, students move beyond following instructions toward designing their own solutions, writing more complex code, engineering physical builds, and training intelligent systems. This program is built for students ready to trade point-and-click coding for real programming syntax, and simple robot commands for genuine AI experimentation.
